Privacy policy
The short version: the calculators run entirely in your browser, and we do not collect personal data on the inputs you enter.
What the calculators store
Nothing. Every calculator on this site runs in your browser as JavaScript. The numbers you enter, your salary, loan amount, KiwiSaver balance, BMI inputs, and every other field, never leave your device. Nothing is sent to a server. Nothing is logged. Nothing is shared.
What this site collects in aggregate
We use privacy-respecting analytics to count page views and understand which calculators are getting used. The analytics provider is configured to:
- Not set tracking cookies.
- Not collect IP addresses, browser fingerprints, or anything personally identifying.
- Aggregate visit counts at the page level only.
What we do not do
- No advertising networks. No retargeting. No third-party ad pixels.
- No newsletter signups, no email capture, no popup walls.
- No selling, sharing, or licensing of any user data.
Cookies
The site does not set cookies for tracking. Some browsers may store small bits of local-storage data to remember the dark-mode preference or the last calculator you opened. This data stays on your device and is not transmitted.
Third-party services
The site loads the Inter font from Google Fonts. Google receives the request when the font loads. No identifying information is sent. If you want to load the font locally instead, contact us.
Your rights under the Privacy Act 2020
You have the right to access and correct any personal information we hold about you. Since the calculators do not collect personal information, the typical answer is "we do not hold any". For analytics-derived aggregate data, we cannot extract anything specific to you because nothing identifies you.
